Does this fountain pen include a converter?Updated 10 months ago

In your search for a cartridge/converter fountain pen, there are many options that may or may not include a converter with the pen's purchase.

To keep the costs affordable to the end user, manufacturers might only include one ink cartridge with an affordable, starter fountain pen. For example, Lamy Safari fountain pens and Kaweco Sport fountain pens only include one blue ink cartridge to start. You would have to purchase a converter separately if you would like to use bottled ink.

The best way to tell if the fountain pen includes a converter to start is to check the product images and read the description. In the additional images, you'll find the contents of the pen and see the refill(s) included. We also list the included contents in the item's description and specifications.

If a fountain pen uses a piston-filling mechanism, it does not need a converter to fill with bottled ink.

If you checked the item's images and description and still aren't sure if a converter is included, please feel free to contact us and ask. We will be happy to confirm.
