How to swap a Kaweco Sport fountain pen nibUpdated 10 months ago
Switch up the writing experience of your pocket-friendly Kaweco Sport fountain pen. In the Classic or Skyline Sport models, the nib and feed are friction fit into the grip section. So, here's what you need to do:
- Disconnect any cartridge or converter that might be attached to the fountain pen.
- Take a rubber grip (optional) and grasp the nib using your thumb and forefinger.
- Pull the nib and feed straight out. Do not twist or bend to attempt removing the nib.
- Align the replacement nib and feed in the proper orientation, holding them together with thumb and forefinger.
- Insert the replacement nib and feed into the section with a snug fit.
Please note that this tutorial does not apply to the metal-bodied Sport fountain pens like the AL-Sport, Brass Sport, and so on. Those nib units can be unscrewed from the grip section and do not need to be pulled out to swap.
